This project aims to investigate the effects of root-applied graphene oxide (GO) on the growth of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum, L.). We explored the synergistic regulatory mechanism of GO on leaf photosynthetic characteristics (e.g., photosynthetic rate, chlorophyll content) and related physiological processes, to clarify how root-applied GO promotes cotton growth. The experimental data (e.g., phenotypic traits, physiological indicators) generated in this study will provide a basis for understanding the interaction between nanomaterials and crop plants.
