MinION RNA-seq of leafs from different developement stages of the medicinal plant C.roseus in order to define good gene models for this species.

Catharanthus roseus produces several medical important alkaloids, namely vinblastine and vincristine. The levels of these compounts is higher in plants grown in external enviroments. In this study, 12 samples from leaves, from both internal and external plants were sequences in order to identify candidate genes that could be involved in the final part of the Monoterpenoid indole alkaloid pathway in C.roseus
