Abundance gradients

Analysis of possibilities identifying in vitro communities (Comb) using data coming from in silico communities, created by measuring axenic cultures separately (axComb).
Conclusion:
In silico communities which give rise to a classifier which is able to achieve high accuracies on a held-out test set, are able to identify their in vitro counterpart community with adequate precision.
Notes:
The CombX...-files constitute in vitro bacterial communities of two species in varying abundances, the axCombY-files constitute an axenic culture used in one of the three CombX.
