Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired along the East Pacific Rise (EPR) near Segment 9N during the Roger Revelle expedition DANA06RR (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Roger Revelle expedition DANA06RR conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Steve Constable). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Swath Bathymetry, and Sidescan data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Constraining the Magmatic Budget of the EPR at 9-N Using Broadband Marine MT, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-41597.
