Sub-National Assessment of Iodine Potency in Fortified Salt in Nepal (2025)

This dataset contains iodate concentration measurements (ppm) from fortified salt samples collected in four provinces of Nepal. Samples were analyzed at both the point of sale (sealed commercial packages) and the point of consumption (household kitchens) to assess changes in iodine potency along the supply chain. Iodate content was determined via iodometric titration using sodium thiosulfate, with uncertainty values calculated through standard error propagation. The data provide sub-national insights into iodine stability in Nepal's salt fortification program.
