资源简介:
This dataset contains image analysis export files (.ets format) derived from RNAscope in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments on mouse left ventricular heart tissue. The data supports the findings presented in the manuscript "Novel insights into post-myocardial infarction cardiac remodeling through algorithmic detection of cell-type composition shifts".
The experiments visualized the expression of specific markers within cardiac tissue sections obtained from mice under different experimental conditions:
Control: Wild-type mice subjected to sham surgery.
WT MI: Wild-type mice subjected to myocardial infarction (MI) via left coronary artery (LCA) ligation.
AKO MI: Cardiomyocyte-specific alpha1A-adrenergic receptor knockout (cmAKO) mice subjected to MI via LCA ligation.
Markers analyzed include:
Actinin: Sarcomeric alpha-actinin (IHC marker for cardiomyocytes, used for area normalization).
CD45: Leukocyte common antigen (ISH/IHC marker for immune cells).
DDR2: Discoidin domain receptor 2 (ISH/IHC marker often associated with fibroblasts).
The dataset comprises 9 files, representing each marker across the three experimental conditions. These files were generated using an Olympus VS200 slide scanner and associated software (e.g., OlyVIA) and were subsequently analyzed using QuPath software as detailed in the associated publication. This data provides spatial context and validation for transcriptomic findings related to cellular composition and gene expression changes during post-MI cardiac remodeling.
