Wetware: designing for a contemporary dilemma

This paper outlines and reports the development process of the game Wetware throughout the years of 2018-2019 and the design decisions made along the way. This paper also describes the concepts of emergence, agency, value-based game decisions, and A.I. ethics as the basis for the design of the game, and in the end lays out the conclusions drawn from implementation and testing of the design in relation to the three concepts.
