Feces from humans and animals make a significant contribution to the contamination of drinking and recreational water and increase the human health risk due to the presence of various pathogens. It is important to track fecal sources from humans and animals negatively that influenced the water quality of rural rivers and human health. Microbial source tracking methods were applied to identify fecal sources deriving from human and animal species.
