This repository holds the species-level dataset, MCC phylogeny, and R code supporting the study "Evidence for Correlated Evolution of Wing Scale and Brain Volume in Piciformes". The dataset integrates openly sources brain-volume measurements alongside new endocranial measurements taken from the Louisiana State University Museum of Natural Science with morphological data from AVONET (Tobias et al., 2022) and ecological data from EltonTraits (Wilma et al., 2014).
