Drug usage in Latrobe Valley secondary schools, 1980

This survey was designed to measure current smoking levels among students in order to allow measurement of the effectiveness of the Latrobe Valley Smoking Control Project. Information was collected concerning the students' family background and their use of three drugs - alcohol, tobacco and analgesic tablets and powders and attitudes to the use of these drugs. Background variables included year level, age, sex, country of birth of respondent and parents, living arrangements, parents occupations, parental education, religion and religiosity.
