6-Gingerol improves gut microbiota in a mouse model of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea

This project examines the effect of 6-Gingerol, a major bioactive compound in ginger, on gut microbiota in a mouse model of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD). Fecal samples from control and treatment groups were collected, and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was performed to analyze changes in microbial diversity and composition following 6-Gingerol intervention. The dataset provides evidence for the modulatory effect of 6-Gingerol on gut microbiota during CDAD and supports further research on microbiota-targeted therapies for this condition.
