Instantaneous shoreline position dataset

The Instantaneous Shoreline Position product provides periodic waterline measurements along the Mamaia beach (Constanța, Romanian Black Sea coast), derived from in-situ RTK-GNSS surveys. The dataset includes the position of the instantaneous land-water interface (swash uprush limit) at the time of each survey, covering the dynamic sandy beach sectors of Mamaia Central (H2O–IpanNera area) and Mamaia North (Fratelli–Kudos–Cabo area), with annual coverage from 2021 to 2025. The data product also delivers quality control flags in accordance with EMODnet Geology Coastal Behavior standards, ensuring the reliability of shoreline position measurements.
