Multibeam sonar bathymetry and backscatter data from the western Caribbean Sea offshore Costa Rica and Nicaragua collected in 2008 on Langseth cruise MGL0804 (investigators Holbrook, van Avendonk, Cheadle, Kelemen, Lizarralde)

This multibeam swath bathymetry data set was collected with a Kongsberg EM120 sonar system during Langseth cruise MGL0804. The data files are in MBSystem format and were acquired as part of a project called Seismic measurements of magma flux, arc composition, and lower-plate serpentinization in the Central American subduction factory.
