Crystal structures of CK2alpha'-biased inhibitors from Mudaliar et al. (2024) in complex with CK2alpha

Mudaliar et al. (2024) describe two compounds, namely compound 1 and compound 2, which are inhibitors of CK2alpha' (CSNK2A1 gene product), but fall of in terms of potency towards the isoform CK2alpha (CSNK2A1 gene product). We purchased the two compounds in order to experimentally investigate (a) the structural background of the CK2alpha'-bias and (b) further tested, whether the different potency on the two isoenzymes is also present in the holoenzymes.
