资源简介:
This collection of whole-genome sequence data was used in a Genome-Wide Association Study aimed at uncovering molecular markers that are associated with Campylobacter jejuni strains known to cause high rates of human disease in Canada. Our analysis has uncovered several markers that are consistent with processes known to influence host colonization, including iron acquisition and vitamin B5 biosynthesis. It has also uncovered a number of other genes, many of which remain hypothetical ORFs of unknown function but whose discovery hints at a potential in some role critical in the complex web of interactions leading to campylobacteriosis.
