Die deutsche Version des CAINS ist ein halbstrukturiertes Interviewverfahren, welches zur Einschätzung der aktuellen Schwere der Negativsymptomatik bei Patienten mit psychotischen Störungen dient. Das detaillierte Verfahren eignet sich sowohl für eine genaue diagnostische Einschätzung und Therapieevaluation im Rahmen der Behandlung von Patienten mit prominenter Negativsymptomatik als auch für Forschungszwecke. Es besteht aus zwei Skalen, die die Motivation und Freude sowie den Ausdruck/Expression über verschiedene Lebensbereiche hinweg erfassen. Reliabilität: Die interne Konsistenz für die Motivations- und Freudeskala beträgt Cronbachs Alpha = .87, für die Ausdrucksskala Alpha = .80 und für die Gesamtskala Alpha = .87. Validität: Die deutsche Version der CAINS weist eine ähnlich gute konvergente und diskriminante Validität wie die amerikanische Version auf (Lincoln, 2014). The German version of the CAINS is a semi-structured interview test that is used to assess the current severity of negative symptoms in patients with psychotic disorders. The detailed procedure is suitable for a precise diagnostic assessment and therapy evaluation in the treatment of patients with prominent negative symptoms as well as for research purposes. It consists of two scales which measure motivation and joy as well as expression over different areas of life. Reliability: The internal consistency for the motivation and joy scale is Cronbach's Alpha = .87, for the expression scale Alpha = .80 and for the total scale Alpha = .87.
