In Western Europe, private-label consumer goods reported an annual increase of 5.7 percent of their retail sales value as of September 2020. Compared to the previous year, the food and beverage segment registered an even higher increment (6.1 percent), while the sales value of non-food products did not go over three percent. Across all product categories, the percentage change in sales value was significantly lower over the 13 and five weeks ending September 27, 2020.
