Gross Irrigation Demand April Schedule: 35 Mm Net, 7 Day Cycle

This data set contains the GROSS IRRIGATION DEMAND Schedule: 35 mm net, 7 day cycle in South Africa. Gross irrigation demand is the gross irrigation water that needs to be abstracted from a source of water (e.g. dam) to satisfy the irrigated crop`s water requirement. Fixed Cycle / Fixed Amount Irrigation, is assumed to be by overhead irrigation with conveyance, wind/spray drift and interception losses of 10%, 12% and 1.5 mm per event thus being assumed, in each case with a 7 day cycle. The 35 mm day net represents an equivalent "peak demand" of 5 mm/day to the plant.
