15 Oscheius tipulae were collected in 2019 from sites of varying radioactivity within the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. 5 additional strains were collected from elsewhere (Mauritius, Philippines, Germany, USA, Australia). These 20 genomes were sequenced to investigate potential genomic impacts or mutation signatures of a radioactive landscape. O. sp. 3 was sequenced as an outgroup to O. tipulae.
