Nichtmonogames, auch polyamores, Begehren wird oftmals als Ursache oder Effekt eines Mangels verstanden. Der Beitrag situiert diese Logik des Mangels innerhalb von Mono-Normativität, der gesellschaftlichen Privilegierung sexuell und affektiv exklusiver Zweierbeziehungen. Anhand narrativer Interviews wird gezeigt, wie sich der Mangel-Diskurs auch in polyamore Beziehungen einschreibt. Anschließend wird die mono-normative Mangel-Ökonomie – basierend auf Interviews sowie den Arbeiten von Gilles Deleuze und Félix Guattari – mit einer Lesart polyamorer (und sonstiger) Beziehungen als agencement, als Gefüge des Begehrens kontrastiert. Aus dieser Perspektive sind (Poly‑)Begehren und Affekte als Prozesse der Produktion des Sozialen interpretierbar, denen es an nichts mangelt. Auch stellen sich die Poly-Beziehungen der Interviewten nicht als statische, identitäre Gebilde dar, sondern als im Werden begriffen. In einem Ausblick werden einige weitergehende Forschungsfragen skizziert, die eine ausführlichere Studie zu Polyamory als agencement aufnehmen könnte. The article situates this logic of lack within mono-normativity, the socially privileged status of sexually and affectively exclusive couple relationships. Drawing on narrative interviews, it is shown how the discourse of lack also extends into polyamorous relationships. Subsequently, based on the interview data as well as on the works of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, the mono-normative economy of lack is contrasted with a reading of polyamorous (and other) relationships as agencement, as assemblages of desire. From this perspective, (poly‑)desire and affects can be interpreted as production processes of the social that do not lack anything. In addition, the interview partners’ poly-relationships do not present themselves as static, identity-defining structures but as becomings. In an outlook, some further research issues are sketched which might be taken up by a more detailed study on polyamory as agencement. peerReviewed publishedVersion
