Supplemental Small Group Early Literacy Intervention data.csv

Phonological awareness and alphabet knowledge are fundamental building blocks for literacy development. We identified preschoolers in voluntary prekindergarten (VPK) classrooms housed in private child care centers and public schools with persistent delays in these skills and evaluated the efficacy of a supplemental phonological awareness and alphabet knowledge curriculum to remediate deficits in early literacy skills. For each participant, pre and posttest data are presented for these early literacy skills including phoneme segmentation, phoneme blending, first sound identification, letter names, letter sounds, and first sound fluency.
