资源简介:
Chenopodium ambrosioides L. is a native perennial herb in Tropical America and has been used as anthelmintic for many centuries in Latin-America. In the beginning of 18th century, C. ambrosioides was taken to the rest of the world and widely adopted as an anthelmintic remedy. In China, C. ambrosioides is well-known as a common invasive alien who distributed in most parts of southern China, and is able to flourish in heavy metal contaminated habitats. Previous studies reported that C. ambrosioides is manganese/lead hyperaccumulator, who can accumulate large amounts of heavy metals in its aerial tissues, thus can be used for phytoremediation of heavy metal contaminated soil. Despite its ecological and economic importance, genome and genetic resources regarding C. ambrosioides are scarce, which has restricted the study of the lead and manganese tolerance and accumulation mechanisms for C. ambrosioides. Therefore, a genome survey is necessary to obtain knowledge on the genome structure of C. ambrosioides.
