Rauschert (True or German chamomile) is one of the most important medicinal plants worldwide, with a wide range of medical applications like infections and inflammatory diseases of the skin, gastrointestinal diseases and respiratory problems.A single individual of diploid chamomile variety "Bona" was used for sequencing. For PacBio long-read sequencing, four single-molecule real time (SMRT) library was prepared and generated total of 7,281,234 reads which is about 162Gb. For Hi-C read sequencing, total of 3,710,914,879 reads were generated which is about 408Gb.The haplotype-resolved assemblies can accessed under PRJNA1044733 and PRJNA1044734.
