Data from: Terminal attack trajectories of peregrine falcons are described by the proportional navigation guidance law of missiles

GPS data for all of the terminal attack trajectories of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) that were analysed in the paper.The raw GPS data relating to our publication are stored in the MAT-file Brighton2017.mat, readable in MATLAB Version 8 (The MathWorks, Inc.) or later. This MAT-file holds a single structure array, terminalTrajectories, containing the GPS data for all of the terminal attack trajectories of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) that were analysed in the paper. A detailed description of the fields of this structure array can be found in the accompanying README file.Brighton2017.matVideo data for all of the attack flights of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) that were analysed in the paper.The raw video data relating to our publication are stored in the accompanying zipped archive (.zip file) containing Quicktime movie (.mov) files readable in Quicktime Version 7 or later (Apple, Inc.). The videos are recorded and stored at 30 fps, and are compressed using the h264 codec. Each video is named in the format XxddmmyyZ.mov, the naming conventions for which are described in the accompanying README file. The videos show footage collected from either a video camera carried in the back of the bird, or a video camera carried by the remotely piloted aircraft towing the target.Brighton2017.zip
