The aim of this study is to (i) observe the presence of Sb(V) reduction coupled with hydrogen-oxidation (HOSbR) in two contrasting Sb-contaminated environments; (ii) identify bacteria responsible for HOSbR and compare their metabolic potentials related to HOSbR; (iii) examine their ecological roles in Sb-contaminated environments.
