The present project funded by the peruvian agency of science innovation investigate on culturable microbiota from theintestinal tract of the peruvian scallop Argopecten purpuratus and its role as probiotic and pathogen antagonistic agent.Based on these criteria the whole genome of selected organisms will be shotgun sequenced. Sequencing strain V1B will enhancethe oportunity to understand the function an evolution of this organism regarding the already sequenced V. inhibens strain BFLP 10.
