<b>Thermal and cardiovascular responses to sauna are attenuated by cold water immersion breaks</b>

This dataset contains thermal, cardiovascular, and perceptual data collected during a counterbalanced crossover study investigating the effects of cooling modality during intermittent Finnish-style sauna exposure in healthy adults. Participants completed two experimental conditions on separate visits: sauna exposure interspersed with ambient air cooling (AIR) and sauna exposure interspersed with cold-water immersion breaks (CWI).Physiological measurements were collected throughout both trials and include body core temperature, mean skin temperature, mean body temperature, heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and derived cardiovascular variables, alongside perceptual responses. Data are anonymized and participant identifiers are coded.The dataset supports the analyses reported in the associated manuscript examining how cold-water immersion during sauna attenuates thermal and cardiovascular responses compared with air cooling.
