This is the source code for modeling preferential snowfall deposition and snowfall downscaling as described in:

The code reads wind speed, wind direction, and snowfall values for each time step from the example file meteo.txt, as well as terrain elevations (DEM) from dem.txt. The snowfall value is then downscaled to the fine grid defined by the DEM and written to pref_dep.txt.
