资源简介:
This data is Census Collection Districts (CD) based Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA) data based on the 1986 census. The data follows the 1986 Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC) boundaries.\n\nThe Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has developed indexes to allow ranking of regions/areas, providing a method of determining the level of social and economic wellbeing in that region.\n\nThe three indexes are:\nIndex of Relative Socio-Economic Disadvantage\nIndex of Economic Resources\nIndex of Education and Occupation\n\nThese indexes show where the affluent (as opposed to just high income earning) live; where disadvantaged (as opposed to the unemployed) live: and where the highly skilled and educated (as opposed to the tertiary educated people) live.SEIFA 1986 provides information and rankings for a wide range of geographic areas. \n\nThis data is ABS data (catalogue number: 2033.0.55.001) used with permission from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. \n\nFor more information on this data please visit the [Australian Bureau of Statistics](http://www.abs.gov.au/AUSSTATS/abs@.nsf/allprimarymainfeatures/70E7F35DD7BA8583CA25715B007A6B4A?opendocument).Please note: \n\n * AURIN has spatially enabled the original data following the [1986 ASGC](https://data.gov.au/dataset/ds-dga-50514875-5255-4428-a28d-d1d9c557f77b/details?q=collection%20districts%201986).\n\n * The Collection District Numbers in the original data have been combined with the State Code to create the main Collection District Codes.\n
