"The Nautical chart manual, seventh edition (1992) defines C&GS policies, procedures and standards for nautical chart production. It superseds the 6th edition (1963) in its entirety and includes all amended information up to and including Cartographic order 002/92, dated March 4, 1992. The manual will be maintained by issuance of new directives (either Cartographic orders or memorandums) after this date."--Transmittal letter.
