This dataset is primarily intended for research on the grain size of as-fabricated Ti6Al4V alloy and TiC/Ti6Al4V composite prepared via laser additive manufacturing, as well as the grain size of Ti6Al4V alloy and TiC/Ti6Al4V composite prepared via ultrasonic shock-high energy pulse current coupled laser additive manufacturing, and the residual stress within 2 mm below the sample surface. The test data and third-party inspection results for the grain size of as-fabricated Ti6Al4V alloy and TiC/Ti6Al4V composite prepared via laser additive manufacturing, as well as the grain size of TiC/Ti6Al4V composite prepared via ultrasonic shock-high energy pulse current coupled laser additive manufacturing, were generated using optical metallographic microscopes based on cooperation between Harbin Engineering University and AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials, mainly recording the grain size grades. The test data and third-party inspection results for the grain size of Ti6Al4V alloy prepared via ultrasonic shock-high energy pulse current coupled laser additive manufacturing were generated using optical metallographic microscopes based on cooperation between Harbin Engineering University and GB (Beijing) Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd., mainly recording the grain size grades. The test data source for residual stress within 2 mm below the surface of Ti6Al4V alloy and TiC/Ti6Al4V composite prepared via ultrasonic shock-high energy pulse current coupled laser additive manufacturing was generated by measuring the residual stress at the sample top, 1 mm below the sample top, and 2 mm below the sample top using a pulstec u360 device, based on GB (Beijing) Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd., mainly recording the residual stress state of the materials. The total data volume is 76.8 MB.
