Code, Data, and Analysis for "A Parallel and Distributed Genetic Algorithm in Rust for the DNA Fragment Assembly Problem" This repository contains the complete source code, experimental scripts, and analysis files for the article "A Parallel and Distributed Genetic Algorithm in Rust for the DNA Fragment Assembly Problem." Contents: Rust Source Code: The full implementation of the parallel and distributed genetic algorithm. Experimental Scripts: The slurm batch scripts used to run the experiments on the Kabré cluster. Experimental Results: The raw results we obtained from the runs in the Kabré cluster. Preprocessing: Two scripts used for data preprocessing. Analysis: An Emacs Org file (.org) containing all R code used to generate the figures and perform the statistical analyses presented in the paper. Usage Note: To select the crossover operator (OX or CSOX) for a run, you must uncomment the corresponding section in the main method of the Rust source code.
