These paired RIP experiments were designed to determine specific ncRNAs that associated with either Lsd1 (Lysine specific demethylase 1) complex or Bre1. The RIP experiments were done using fly ovarian lysate collected from young females (<12 hr post eclosion). Specifically, Lsd1-RIP and Bre1-RIP were paired with a IgG-RIP ereaction for normalizing the abundance of individual transcripts.
