资源简介:
These data were consecutively collected at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology from June 2014 to June 2015.
The study participants were recruited and divided into two distinct groups. The younger group included patients aged from 18 years (only adults, no children or adolescents) up to 30 years. The older group (> 40 years) has been designed as a subgroup to analyze more pronounced changes in structural and functional changes in cerebral arteries.
Exclusion criteria were patients with any vascular risk factors (hypertension, smoking, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular or neurological diseases). None of the volunteers was under medications. Before the measurement was performed, the participants were instructed to abstain from consuming caffeine and alcohol and to avoid engaging in intensive exercise for at least 12 hours.
