This feature layer shows point feature locations of Major Traffic Generators in Kentucky at a statewide scale. These types of facilities generate 100 vehicle trips or more per day and they include, but are not limited to schools, hospitals, shopping centers, sports complexes, arenas, office parks, truck stops, and industrial parks. This dataset includes facilities that generate passenger vehicle traffic as well as freight traffic. In some cases, Major Traffic Generators can also be considered a Major Freight User.
