<i>Allium grayi</i> Regel polyploid

<i>Allium grayi</i> Regel is a seasonally limited small perennial herb of the subfamily <i>Allioideae</i>, and is endemic to Matsu,Taiwan. This whole plants of <i>Allium grayi</i> Regel holds nutritious, ornamental value, and biological pharmacological activity. Since its bulb size ranges from 1 to1.5 cm, this study evaluated for the first time to induce polyploidy using the bulbs of <i>Allium grayi</i> Regel as explants in vitro, with the expectation of increasing the bulb size.
