RhAg crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rh is bonded to six equivalent Rh and six equivalent Ag atoms to form RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra that share corners with eighteen equivalent RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, edges with six equivalent RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, edges with twelve equivalent AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, faces with eight equivalent RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra. All Rh–Rh bond lengths are 2.78 Å. All Rh–Ag bond lengths are 2.89 Å. Ag is bonded to six equivalent Rh and six equivalent Ag atoms to form AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra that share corners with eighteen equivalent AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, edges with six equivalent AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, edges with twelve equivalent RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, faces with eight equivalent AgAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent RhAg6Rh6 cuboctahedra. All Ag–Ag bond lengths are 2.78 Å.
