Mortality data for checkerboard analysis of bioprotectants

This repository contains an Excel dataset of binary mortality outcomes from a two-factor “checkerboard” bioassay testing combinations of two treatments labelled <b>OA</b> and <b>PE</b> across multiple concentration levels. The data are in long (tidy) format with <b>one row per observation</b> (a single well/treatment in a given replicate run), and include plate well position, treatment identity, replicate/run, week/block, and mortality status.<b>Total observations:</b> 1,072 rows<b>Treatments:</b> 67 unique treatments, comprising<b>Combined (OA + PE):</b> 49 mixtures (<b>7 OA levels × 7 PE levels</b>)<b>Individual:</b> 16 single-compound treatments (<b>8 OA-only</b> and <b>8 PE-only</b>)<b>Controls:</b> 2 (“Water”, “Tween1%”)<b>Replication:</b> 16 replicate runs (each replicate includes all 67 treatments once; <b>16 observations per treatment</b>)<b>Temporal blocking:</b> 3 weeks (Week 1: replicates 1–6; Week 2: 7–10; Week 3: 11–16)
