MiRNAs related to immune priming in oysters

The primary immune stimulation was performed by injecting heat-killed V. splendidus suspension into each oyster. One week later, a secondary stimulation was conducted using V. splendidus suspension. Tissue samples were collected from nine randomly selected individuals at 0 h and 6 h post-injection for the primary and the secondary stimulations. Oysters in the immune-resting state were sampled at 0 h before the primary (SS) and secondary (VS) stimulations. Additionally, those in the immune-activated state were collected at 6 h after the respective primary (SV) and secondary (VV) challenges. Haemocytes of three oysters were combined as a single biological replicate, with three biological replicates at each group.
