The present Invention relates to a machine for weaving naturally occurring pliable materials into baskets of different sizes. An efficient machine useful for weaving naturally occurring pliable materials where strips of naturally occurring pliable materials are winded uniformly and are interlaced at right angles to form a basket and its method of operation thereof. More particularly the weaving machine uses bamboo strips to make baskets and the corresponding method for obtaining the basket using the machine. However， the scope of the Invention is not limited to its use for weaving bamboo strips only rather it can be used for weaving the naturally occurring pliable materials into baskets of different sizes also.
