This folder contains relevant datasets and code generated in the study:Masson S., Chialva<sup> </sup>M., Bongiovanni D., Adamo M., Stefanini I., Lanfranco L. Geographic and taxonomic patterns influence the scientific and societal interest in urban soil microbial diversity. 2024 <i>under revision</i>.The main database (tab-delimited file), additional files and R scripts used to parse and analyze the data are provided.The main dataset provided (UrbanSoil_DB_with_metrics.tsv) was generated based on a raw database retrieved from Web of Science (see the paper for further details) by adding citations and the Altmetric Attention Score using the uRban_v5_add_metrics.R script.Modeling and statistics were performed using the uRban_v5_models_and_statistics.R script and the datasets provided here as input.Auth_lon_lat.txt &gt; geographical coordinates for each of the investigated site across the reviewed studies (WGS84).StudySite_lon_lat.txt &gt; geographical coordinates for each of the corresponding author institution across the reviewed studies (WGS84).<br><br>
