This series comprises notes prepared for, and notes arising from, meetings between Mr Jørn Utzon and the Minister for Public Works Hon. Davis Hughes on 18 February 1966 and 1 March 1966 RE Utzon's resignation as architect for the Sydney Opera House. It also includes a letter received from the Secretary General of the Union Internationale des Architectes in Paris, April 1966; a Cabinet Minute of 28 February 1966; a note from the Senior Administrative Officer, 8 March 1966; a petition from members of the Government Architect's Branch; and a report prepared by the Government Architect, 15 March 1966, on matters to be considered if the Government Architect was to take responsibility for the satisfactory completion of the building.
