Comparative Analysis of the Microbiota of Weanling Pigs with and without Diarrhea in Southern Brazil

The aim of this study is to carry out a detailed and comparative analysis of the composition of bacterial taxa present in the intestinal microbiota of weaning pigs, with a focus on differentiating the microbial profiles of animals that have diarrhea from those that do not. The research covers pigs from the southern region of Brazil, with the aim of identifying possible differences in the diversity and abundance of intestinal bacteria associated with the occurrence of diarrhea, as well as investigating potential implications for animal health and management.
