资源简介:
The craniosynostotic rabbit is a naturally occurring rabbit model for coronal craniosynostosis. Animals within the colony exhibit a range in phenotype that includes an early-onset phenotype resulting in unilateral or bilateral fusion of the coronal suture by 10 days of age, a delayed-onset phenotype resulting in unilateral or bilateral restriction of cranial growth and eventual fusion of the coronal suture, and phenotypically normal rabbits which may act as carriers for the disease phenotype. Genomic DNAs obtained from animals with early-onset craniosynostosis (n=12), delayed-onset craniosynostosis (n=12), and phenotypically normal in-colony rabbits (n=22) were submitted to Floragenex (Portland, OR) for RAD sequencing. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq platform. The mean number of sequencing reads per sample obtained was 3,743,339.
