资源简介:
Identification of gene signatures that are associated with RTS,S-mediated protection against controlled malaria infection Overall design: Forty-six volunteers were randomly selected to receive either three monthly doses of RTS,S/AS01 vaccine according to the standard regiment (RRR) or one injection of Ad35.CS followed by two monthly injections of RTS,S (ARR). All of the volunteers underwent CHMI 3 weeks after the last dose and the protection against CHMI was evaluated accordingly. PBMC samples were collected from all participants prior to vaccination and on days 1, 2, 6, and 14 after the 1st injection and on the days of the 2nd and 3rd injections and on days 1 and 6 after the 2nd injection. Additionally, PBMC samples were collected on the day of challenge and days 1 and 5 after challenge. This dataset is suitable for analyses that seek to identify differences between RRR and ARR and to identify transcriptional differences between protected and non-protected recipients of RRR and ARR regimens.
