Effect of overexpression of VGF on gene expression of A549 and H1299 NSCLC cells

This study investigates the transcriptional changes induced by VGF overexpression in A549 and H1299 NSCLC cell lines. RNA-seq was performed on cells transfected with a VGF lentivirus or an empty vector control. The goal is to identify dysregulated genes and pathways mediated by VGF overexpression in lung cancer cells. A factorial design was employed with two cell lines (A549, H1299) and two treatment conditions (VGF OE vs. Empty vector). For each cell line and condition, 3 biologically independent replicates were analyzed.
