In this study, the researchers sampled the soil inside and outside the sheep farm and performed microbial sequencing of bacteria and fungi separately to obtain the microbial species composition of the area. The study aimed to examine the species and structure of microorganisms in soils from different areas and the effect of microbial diversity on ecosystem functioning. The main objectives of our study were threefold: (1) community diversity and community structure; (2) inter-community symbiotic networks and variability of keystone species; and (3) to reveal the relationship between environmental factors and microbial community and ecosystem multifunctionality. In this study, we investigated the microbial communities in the soil, examined the relationship between soil micromechanisms and soil multifunctionality, and analysed the potential impacts of soil microenvironments and biological systems.
