This layer features the locations of ARTS towers on Barro Colorado Island (BCI). ARTS (Automated Radio Telemetry System) was a system operating at the STRI field station on BCI. The ARTS used standard VHF radio-tracking technology to monitor the movements of radio-tagged study animals automatically, continuously and simultaneously.
