VPRS 18880 Committee of Management Minutes and Papers

This series comprises minutes and papers of the Committee of Management. The Committee of Management was the Essendon and District Memorial Hospital’s main decision making body also responsible for the overall management of the hospital. The Committee was also referred to as the General Committee until mid-1980. This series includes minutes of the Committee of Management as well as some from the Finance (VPRS 18899) and House Committees (VPRS 18888).  The minutes also include reports from the hospital staff such as the Manager, Matron, Engineer, and Caterer, and reports on activities such as training and medical appointments.
