Small cell lung cancer is one of the deadliest cancers worldwide. The current first-line treatment is effective, but most patients relapse with disease resistant to treatment. My thesis aims to explore the role of the potent oncogene MYC in driving SCLC in resistant disease, and to find new treatments to overcome resistance.
